Job Purpose
To ensure the technical stability, performance, and security of SAP systems.

- Transport and patch management
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification in SAP Basis, SAP HANA, Linux administration, cloud infrastructure, or related enterprise platforms is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in SAP Basis administration, ERP platform support, or enterprise applications infrastructure management.
- Proven hands-on experience in installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, patching, transport management, and performance tuning of SAP systems, preferably including SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP system architecture, including application servers, database connectivity, client administration, user authorizations support, background jobs, spool management, and system refreshes.
- Experience in SAP HANA database administration support, system backups, recovery procedures, high availability, and disaster recovery coordination.
- Demonstrated experience in system landscape management, including development, quality assurance, and production environments.
- Good knowledge of operating systems supporting SAP environments, especially Linux/Unix and Windows Server, as well as virtualization and infrastructure dependencies.
- Experience in SAP upgrades, kernel updates, support packs, transport routes, interface monitoring, and incident troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with integration support across SAP modules and connected enterprise systems.
- Ability to support period-end and month-end processing, system stability, and business continuity for critical ERP operations.
- Good understanding of system security, access management, audit readiness, logging, and compliance controls in enterprise environments.
- Experience with monitoring tools, job scheduling, root-cause analysis, and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder support skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technical teams, business users, vendors, and project teams.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a mission-critical environment.
Added Advantage
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA in a live operational environment with post-go-live stabilization responsibilities.
- Experience in a utility, telecom, banking, or other high-transaction environment where uptime, controls, and operational resilience are critical.
- Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, OpenText, interfaces, and infrastructure refresh Programmes.
- Experience working in environments with governance committees, vendor coordination, and structured ICT reporting.
