This opportunity is ideally suited to a hands-on operational leader with extensive contract catering experience, preferably gained within a healthcare or hospital environment, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a highly regulated setting. Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all catering operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Drive client satisfaction through proactive stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, healthcare protocols, and legislative requirements.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
• Develop, coach, and mentor catering teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Monitor food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction across operations.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing, training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Conduct regular site audits and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Catering Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' management experience within contract catering.
• Previous healthcare or hospital catering experience will be advantageous.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, food costs, and site profitability.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, quality assurance, and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple departments.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
