Job Description:
The Lagos State University Ventures is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Factory Manager to lead our water production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the water factory, including production planning, quality control, and maintenance.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in water treatment and production, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. He/She should also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the water factory, including production planning, quality control, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve water production efficiency and quality.
- Lead a team of production staff, including training and development.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Water Resources Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment and production, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Ability to identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software applications.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
